SANDPIPER :
Founded in 1965 by Warren E. Rupp and Charles E. Young, Jr. with an aim
to meeting exceptional pumps needs, abrasive and viscous substances in
particular. Warren Rupp that is a 100% subsidiary of IDEX Corporation
holds a leading position in the air-operated, diaphragm pump market
with the widest range of pump sizes, types and models; marketed
primarily under the trade name of SANDPIPER® Pumps. The assortment

- Standard Duty Metallic Pumps-
Standard Duty Metallic Pumps are ideally suited for intermittent
/on-demand, portable moderately abrasive fluids and suspended solids.

Blagdon Pump : Established
in the early 1950s by owners, George Blagdon and George Flynn as a
small engineering workshop supplying goods to the local coal fields in
Durham the North East of England. With the knowledge of the mining
industry, Blagdon discovered the need for a simple pump to remove water
from the coal face, thus the FP1 was conceived in 1979 and Blagdon
produced its first Air Operated Diaphragm Pump. Subsequently in 1981 the
company was sold to Terry Harrison who owned a pump hire business. In
1997 Terry Harrison retired and the company was acquired by the IDEX corporation.
Since then relationship has grown and continues to do so to give all

Why AODD Pumps?
Informed
customers select AODD Pumps vs other pump types when challenged with
difficult pumping situations. AODD Pumps are air or natural gas operated
displacement type pumps which uniquely differ from all other positive
displacement pumps. As a result of air pressure acting on the entire
surface of the diaphragm, the diaphragm is in a balanced condition while
pumping. This measurably extends diaphragm life over that of
mechanically operated diaphragm pumps.
